Nice surprise and Terry Pratchett
I have this account for all my photos on Flick (http://www.flickr.com/photos/ubod/) and found this mail:

Hello,

Today I saw your art on the site and I was very impressed. Let me introduce myself. I am from Bulgaria, my name is Mariana Velichkova and I work for an international internet art & culture magazine, which is created in three languages Bulgarian, English & German. The project started in 2006 in Germany and has been developing since then. We have thousands of readers visiting our sites daily.
Every week we represent a new artist to the ever growing community of our readers and we would like to invite to display your art on our site.
Please let me know if you are interested in the opportunity to share your art through the media of our magazine.
If you like, you are welcome to visit our web-sites:

A good thing for the ego! Ha! I never planned to do anything with my photos, except having fun. It's nice when others notice what you're doing, right? I'm sure you'll know what I mean. :D
Anyway, checked it out and googled her name and it does seem to be okay. So, I'll guess it's a 'yes'. Still feel a bit baffled, though. *Giggles*

Oh, and yesterday was my weekly visit to the library. You know those days when you feel utterly bored and restless and all you want is a good book to loose yourself in? It was one of those days.
Browsed here, browsed there and all the books I had in mind were not there. Then my hand reached out and took a book by Terry Pratchett out of the shelf.
Now I know his name but that is about it.
Decided to take a gamble and see what he's like and took home his 'Carpe Jugulum'.
Oh, what a treasure! Started reading at three in the afternoon and finished the book at a quarter to midnight. Couldn't put it down. Just couldn't. It's such a wonderful feeling finding yourself laughing out loud. Hasn't happened to me in ages! Who am I kidding? It happens rarely at all!
Death giving Scraps (a dog) his live back because it was the only way he'd get his scythe back had me roaring with laughter! A vampire stubbornly refusing to accept the knowledge of getting killed by touching holy objects by stating that the other vampire, who was killed, simply wasn't concentrating - had to wipe the tears from laughter from my eyes! Oh, and Igor... oh boy, what a character!

Are all his books like that? If so, I'll be heading back to the library as soon as it opens again! Tips for a good Practchett book?
